Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Bazrgan Driver is operated by Bazrgan ("we", "us", "our") as part of the Bazrgan Ecom platform. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@bazrgan.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information — your driver account is created by the business you deliver for, not by self-registration in the app. When you sign in, we access:

• Full name (display name) and login name
• Phone number and email address
• The business and branch you are assigned to, and your workforce role and delivery permissions
• Password (stored as a secure hash; we never see your plain-text password)

Delivery information — for orders assigned to you:

• Order details (items, quantities, customer notes, order status and timestamps)
• Customer delivery address and coordinates for the orders you deliver
• Delivery confirmation data, such as the QR code scanned to confirm handover

Location data — location access is central to how the app works:

• Your device GPS coordinates while the app is in use, to show your position on the delivery map and calculate routes and ETAs
• Background location — while you have an active delivery, we continue to collect your location when the app is not in the foreground, so the business and its customers can see accurate live delivery tracking and ETA. Background location is used only for active, assigned deliveries, not at all other times.

Device information — for push notifications:

• Device token / push subscription ID (used to notify you of newly assigned orders and status changes)
• Device platform (iOS / Android) and device name

Usage data — we do not collect analytics or advertising identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate you and identify the business/branch you deliver for
• Assign orders to you and show you the details needed to complete a delivery
• Calculate routes, ETAs, and provide turn-by-turn navigation to the customer
• Share your live location with the business and the relevant customer while a delivery is active, so they can track its progress
• Confirm delivery completion (e.g. via QR code scan)
• Notify you of new or updated order assignments
• Respond to your support requests, and improve the app and fix issues

We process your data on the legal basis of contract performance (to operate the delivery service you are assigned to) and legitimate interests (app security, safety, and improvement).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Google Maps Platform — to display maps, geocode addresses, calculate routes, and provide navigation. Google Privacy Policy
• OneSignal — to deliver push notifications about assigned orders. OneSignal Privacy Policy
• Bazrgan Ecom API — our own servers, hosted securely, where account, order, and delivery data is stored.

We do not share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties beyond those listed above. Your live location during a delivery is visible to the business you deliver for and to the customer receiving that specific order, solely for delivery tracking.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account, order, and delivery-location data for as long as your driver account remains active with the business, or as needed to provide the service. If your access is removed by the business, you may request deletion of your personal data by contacting support@bazrgan.com. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Data Security

All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to personal and location data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

While we take reasonable precautions, no system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

7. Children's Privacy

Bazrgan Driver is a workforce tool intended for adult delivery personnel and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data (via Profile → Edit Profile)
• Delete your data, subject to the business's own record-keeping obligations
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

9. Location Permissions

The app requests location permission both while in use and always (background). Background location is required so that live delivery tracking keeps working while the app is minimized or the screen is locked during an active delivery — this is the core function of the app. You can revoke location permission at any time in your device settings, but doing so will prevent the app from tracking, navigating, and reporting your delivery progress correctly.

10. Push Notifications

We send push notifications to inform you of new order assignments and status changes. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings; this will not affect your ability to see orders and deliver them within the app, but you may miss timely alerts about new assignments.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you through the app. Continued use of Bazrgan Driver after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
